I just wanted to say I'm doing much better today. I'm not taking as much of the pain meds so I'm finally starting to feel sane!!!! yay for sanity! Some friends are coming over tonight for a movie marithon and I can't wait. It will be fun being stuck inside the house with someone other than my mom! hahaha and I'm going to try and sleep in my own bed tonight, since the surgery I've had to sleep on our recliner since I'm not allowed to lay flat. that sucked!
I'm still feeling a lot of restriction with the band. I can barely get down my protein shakes let alone the 3L of water the doc wants me to drink. I should metion something though, most doctors don't fill the band during surgery they will just wait until your first fill. My doctor is one of the few doctors that actually fill your band during surgery. My band has a 10cc capacity and he filled it to 3cc during surgery. That is why I'm feeling a lot of restriction. I'm so glad he does this because I don't think I could survive another month of clear liquids without restriction! hahaha
